As technological advances continue to take place, the amount of technology in schools will greatly increase. You will begin to see fewer and fewer texts books and less print outs. Students will do the majority, if not all, of their work on laptops and computers. I think that it would be advised that the teachers keep some text books around the classroom. Technology is not always reliable, and students will need an alternate source if their computers begin to fail.
I think that schools should begin to offer different courses in different fields of study. By the time students reach their Junior or Senior year of high school, they have an idea of what they might want to do after college. Schools should not push a student to decide what they want to do, but they should at least offer and alternative to regular classes.
All students are different and have different ways of learning. I think it is vitally important for teachers to change their methods of teaching and see how their students respond to each of these methods. It is ultimately up to the teacher to figure out the best way to teach their students, but I think it would benefit the students if they had a say so in the style of learning.
I believe that it is going to be near to impossible to have a school based solely on technology. My vision is to see schools listen to their students and to their students interests and what their students want to see happen in their school in the future. I think this would benefit both the individual and the society. By allowing students to choose and individual field to study in high school, this will allow them to be more prepared in college. They will also be more interested in the subject they are studying because they will no longer be forced to study subjects they do not desire. It will also benefit society. The society will acquire better and more advanced workers if they begin preparing at a younger age.

Assignment 3
At the beginning of the poem, the person is being reactive. One gets into a hard situation and has to figure out a way to get out. They continuously make the same mistake and fall into the hole. I think this represent some of the mistakes we make in life. I think the point of this poem is to overcome your obstacles or bad habits. If you are so used to doing something it is going to be hard to change; however, if you would have taken the initiative from the beginning then maybe you would not have gotten yourself into such a bad situation. Obstacles are put in your way to see if you are strong enough to overcome them. Sometimes you make that same mistake over and over, until you finally learn to overcome it. When you overcome those obstacles you can move forward with a positive outlook and hopefully learn from your obstacles and be more proactive. Yes, I definitely think a person can go from being reactive to being proactive. It is always better to be proactive and take initiative rather than be reactive and try and make a change after an event has occurred. In order to change from a reactive way of thinking to a proactive way of thinking, a person must realize the benefits. If you take charge at the beginning of a situation you will not get in a bind afterwards. It might take a little more work to be proactive, but the benefits will be much greater in the end.

Assignment 2
I thought the best part of our project was the overall idea. The fact that we were not opening up any ordinary health club might have made investors more interested. We were targeting large business corporations in hope of strengthening employee relationships. We felt that overall healthy employees would work better together and maintain and better work environment.
After we established a general idea, every group member pitched in ideas to form the basis for our project. We all had different things to offer to the health club, and I do not think our project would have been effective if we did not have the ideas from all three group members.
If this had been an individual project then I would have been a little more creative. Since I was working with two other members, I was not sure if they would feel the same about my ideas. I would have used more charts and other ways to bring my idea to the investors.
If I was to do this project again, I would have managed my time better. I would have also been more direct with my approach of pitching the ideas to the investors. I would have made sure they wanted to invest in my project.

A leader is someone who is dedicated and truthful and someone who doesn’t give up on their dreams just because there are bumps in the road. A real leader isn’t afraid of failure; they simple know they have to pick up the pieces and do what they are called to do.
Warning Sign #1: Ethic Slip
It is important for a leader to keep the vision and do it for the right reason. If you lose the true meaning behind the project, then what was the point of starting it in the first place? A leader can not be concerned with the world, but be concerned with the task at hand.
Warning Sign #2: Lost Love
A loss of love is a true shame. It is vital for a leader to stay plugged in and not lose sight of the vision he or she once saw. A leader must not lose sight of a project that means so much to them. Sure the rewards can be great, but in the long run it is about what pleases you not anyone else.
Warning Sign #3: A Shift in Focus
If the shift of the leader goes off course, where is the project heading next? Nowhere, that is where. As a leader, you are responsible for guiding others along; however, if your focus shifts then hopefully your followers can pick you back up and move you in the right direction.
Warning Sign #4: Risk Adversion
Change is sometimes good. As a leader you have to be bold enough to takes risks. Sure, you are going to fail, but you can not be driven by fear. A leader has to learn from his past failures and past success and strive to be better.
Warning Sign #5: Poor Self Management
A leader is just like any other person. They simple have more drive and more determination. That does not mean they can lose themselves along the way. Leaders have to stay on top of things and must remain in good physical, emotional, and psychological shape so they can be a benefit to their followers and to their cause.
Warning Sign #6: Poor Communication
Poor communication is laziness. A leader can not expect his or her followers to do without telling them what needs to be done. As a leader one should know better than that and do everything possible to make sure his or her followers know exactly what they are doing with the task at hand.
